Before we map your reinstatement — a few quick checks
Select any that apply. Each describes a case we can't reinstate mechanically — we'd refer you to a licensed attorney instead. None of these? Continue below.
Reasons your license is on hold
Check every reason that applies. Many people have more than one hold; missing one is the most common reason a packet gets rejected.
Are you contesting the suspension itself?
Contesting means fighting the suspension at a hearing, not satisfying its conditions. Contested matters route to an attorney.
Have you received the official suspension notice?
The notice is the letter from the state describing the action. If you have it, the transaction / notice ID helps us route faster.
Is your driver's license currently expired?
Some states require you to retake written / driving / vision tests if your license has been expired long enough. If you're not sure, leave this set to 'Current.'
Did your license card expire during the suspension?
In some states, reinstating restores the *privilege* but does not renew the *card* — a separate renewal transaction (with its own fee) is required.
Any other holds you know of?
Unpaid tickets in another county, an old insurance lapse, a child-support flag — anything else.
No payment required. The roadmap is free.
